About Me

My name is Ashley and I am 29 years old.  I grew up in Greensboro, NC and graduated from high school in 2001.  Right after I graduated college (literally the day after), I met my husband, Lee.  When I was 20 years old, I committed my life to Jesus Christ.  No matter what happens in my life, He is my rock.  I know that I can do all things through Him (Phil 4:13).  Lee and I got married when I was 21.  I graduated college in 2005 and after college we settled in Raleigh, NC.  Lee and I have been together for 11 years and married for 8.  I have been a full-time homemaker since we got married.  We have two sons, Luke (6 years old) and Nathan (2 years old), and a daughter (Nathan's fraternal twin), Alexis Faith, who is in heaven. 

I enjoy being a full-time wife, mom, homemaker, and homeschooler.  I love organizing, cooking, baking, cleaning, doing projects, and taking care of my kids.  I truly believe that being a wife and mom is the greatest blessing and calling on my life.  I also enjoy watching TV and movies (my favorite movies are Courageous, Fireproof, and Facing the Giants), blogging, reading, and scrapbooking.  That's me in a nutshell.
